I'm over-eager to try cooking too much stuff for one day, possibly one week, but the kitchen is an absolute mess. I have new cookware, old cookware, new foodstuffs that don't have a designated place and a backlog of dishes and pans to wash. So I ran a dishwasher load and hand-washed a bunch. At least everything is clean, but now I need to find places for everything and perhaps de-junk my dining room for some extra prep space and a place to eat besides in front of the computer or in my lounge chair. I actually have a dining tables and some chairs over there somewhere.
Random note: My new stockpot is 8 quarts. I thought my old one was, but it's only 5 quarts.
